Students will use Frost porcelain or English porcelain to make thin see-through pots.  Students will learn techniques for wheel throwing and trimming thin pieces as well as how to slab roll and trim extremely thin hand work.

After the construction piece of the series, students will learn how to use shellac resist and water erosion techniques for design finish.

For those students experienced with Frost  porcelain, techniques in press-mold building pots and exposure to natural textures will also be presented.

Please order Frost Clay prior to the workshop
