To help our neighbors in need, VisArts’ Center for Craft Studies presents Empty Bowls, an international effort to fight hunger in our community.
VisArts ceramics students and faculty create the bowls with clay, glazes, and firing provided by VisArts.
Event proceeds will support Stepping Stones Shelter, a Rockville-based shelter providing emergency food and shelter to Montgomery County families experiencing homelessness.
During the gathering, VisArts will raffle off art work donated by VisArts faculty and staff. Proceeds from the raffle are used for VisArts operating costs, including scholarships for students of all ages.

Event tickets include a ceramic bowl and a light meal.
