Gardner’s artist lecture will briefly cover her educational experiences and will delve into the evolution of her work, including her dedication to making autobiographical work that can be universally understood.
Gardner has held exhibitions across the country and curated the touring exhibition Crowns. Jessica has also presented lectures and been on panels at venues ranging from the National Council for Ceramic Arts (NCECA) conference to the Virginia Community College Association conference.
Gardner’s current work includes hand-build and bisque molded multiples. Her compositions explore motherhood in the modern era and they have been included in publications such as 500 Teapots Volume 2 by Lark Books, Ceramics: Art and Perception and the Both Artist and Mother blog.
