Frame & Frequency is an ongoing International New Media, Film, and Video Art Screening Series presented by VisArts located in Rockville, Maryland (just outside of Washington, DC) that highlights artists whose new media, experimental film, and video works explore contemporary visual culture, and presents an intimate panorama of the variety and breadth of video art in artistic practice today.

This year’s edition will take place on November 22, 2024.

This year’s edition will also include a special section highlighting works that address the Earth’s changing climate and how that intersects with notions of social, racial, and environmental justice.

Frame & Frequency aims to present a diverse group of artists representing multi-generational and cultural backgrounds, nationalities and personal histories, while demonstrating the artists’ impressive command of video and new media technologies.

Deadline for submissions is October 4, 2024.
