Artist Statement: Jeon has always been driven by the invisible aspects of human life. She feels that emotions are the least visible and the most ephemeral element of a human being. Yet she depicts these transient aspects in solid ceramic sculpture, transforming them into a permanent state. Dan Brown creates decorative functional ware featuring figurative images on it.

Artist Statement: Carol Bouville and Leita Gerson both work in water color, water color mixed media collage and pastel. Both artists focus on the use or color. Leita's work is primarily expressionistic. Carol's style is more tied to realism.

Artist Statement: Beth Carey is a jeweler who fabricates her original designs in precious metals with color accents from various stones as well as Debby's lamp-worked glass. Debby Weaver makes lampworked glass beads which are used in a variety of items including those made in collaboration with Beth Carey.

Artist Statement: Seeing, experiencing everyday life is so full of ideas. Imagining what mediums, what techniques and what styles are so inspiring. Life is plentiful with creativity. With these choices I've used watercolor paper (140-300lb) and paints. Single process, California style and English wash styles are used.

Artist Statement: I try to portray the luminosity of the skies and everything they touch, painting in layers of color. A "wet on wet" technique effectively blends acrylics, adds depth to the canvas and evolves time and space.

Artist Statement: Using hammers, stakes, and vises I transform brass, nickel, sterling, and copper sheet and wire into home and body adornment. I use the techniques of forging chasing, fold forming and weaving.

Artist Statement: In our view (no pun intended), the final image dictates the materials and techniques we use. Maybe unframed film in a 35mm camera or a 4x5 inch sheet of film in a large format camera. We also embrace digital technology. We shoot, process and print all of our own images.

Artist Statement: I create glass beads to use in my jewelry designs. I use torch to melt glass rods and wrap the molten glass around a metal mandrel; a process called lampwork. I use Moretti glass to make beads.

Artist Statement: I design and make one of a kind jewelry using semi-precious stones, pearls, hand blown glass, crystal, wood, polymer clay (which I make), and beads from around the world. I also bead pens, letter openers, and key rings.

Artist Statement: I create mixed media pieces by drawing with pencil, pen, pastel or charcoal on high quality watercolor paper. Then I photograph and/or scan this work to a computer to continue creating an art piece using a Wacom tablet to hand draw in a traditional medium simulation.

Artist Statement: A photographic collage begins by observing a place and making a sketch. I rotate the camera to produce different angles and shoot over many hours. Photoshop is used to rotate and layer each photo, making prints and web information. Miniature collages are assembled by hand, using wallet size photos taped together to create a unique product.

Artist Statement: What is under the surface may be deeper than what is first revealed. Experiences, memories, emotions, layer upon layers woven into a stream of color, light, and reflection. The ebb and flow of ocean tides, salt filled breezes and the movement of sand are forever an inspiration. In my paintings I envision the transitions of flow, light, color tension, and repose.

Artist Statement: Each piece is hand turned on a lathe and finished with 20 coats of lacquer. Materials used are domestic and exotic woods (primarily burls), alabaster (from Europe & USA) and occasionally stones (such as turquoise), copper and other embellishments.

Artist Statement: Although each technique will vary depending on the piece, piece, I usually cut, grind, and assemble the various glass components, and may incorporate sand blasted, torch worked, and airbrushed glass into the design as well. The piece may be fired multiple times, with the last firing determining its shape.
